How do the group workshops work?
The group workshops consist of 8 1-hour 50-minute long workshops, which means that there are 2x workshops per week.
The topics will be listed on this page every month, but your child will practice all four language skills (speaking, listening, reading, writing) regardless of the monthly topic. The workshops are for children aged 5-11, and there will be two groups, one for beginners and another for intermediate students.
There is no account or booking for the group workshops
There is no account (when you pay, you will not log in or book anything). Instead, the teacher will send a survey to all parents and find a suitable time that will suit children from different countries, minding the time zones of the students who applied.

Group workshops FAQ
The teacher will send a survey to all parents and find a suitable time that will suit children from different countries, minding the time zones of the students who applied. We have children from Russia, Turkey, Serbia, Japan, and many other countries. If there is no suitable time during the week, the workshops will happen during the weekend so that the children do not miss anything.
The maximum number of students in one group is 10, and we prefer to have small groups.
Yes, the children will get a diploma they can use as proof of extracurricular activities.
FREE classroom app + many FREE worksheets & games
Every student will get its private portfolio, and they will be a part of a group classroom. There are two versions: app for the children and app for parents, which will be used for communication. This is the same app, only installed on the parent’s advice, and you will receive assistance on installing and using it.
All of the students will also get free worksheets and digital games designed by Alice to continue learning at home.

Individual VS. group workshops and selecting a workshop theme
The main difference between the individual and the group workshops is that the teacher books the group workshops, and the individual workshops allow the student to book a time they want.
Another difference is that the group workshops have a monthly theme selected by the teacher, and the children will be placed in a group that fits their language level. In contrast, in the individual workshops, the learner can choose a theme they like, and that interactive workshop material will be adapted to fit the child’s level and preferences.
